ACT Testing

Queen Creek High School is excited to offer the ACT to the entire junior class on February 28, 2017. In accordance with testing guidelines, and in our hopes to provide the best testing environment possible, Queen Creek High School will be running modified school and bus schedules for the school day of February 28. All of our junior students will need to be at school and will start testing at 7:30 a.m. For the juniors, buses will run their regular schedule. For all freshmen, sophomores, and seniors buses will run on an ACT late start schedule, and school will begin at 11:20 a.m. The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • Testing: 7:25 a.m.- 1:25 a.m., Four hours, 11th grade only
  • Lunch: 11:20 a.m.-12:00 p.m., 40 minutes, all students
  • 5th Hour: 12:05 p.m.-1:00 p.m., 55 minutes, all students
  • 6th Hour: 1:05 p.m.- 2:00 p.m., 55 minutes, all students

The ACT late start bus schedule for 9th, 10th, and 12th graders will run four hours and 20 minutes later than the regular bus schedule. Therefore, when calculating the time that we will pick up 9th, 10th, or 12th graders from their bus stop, you must add four hours and 20 minutes to their pick-up time. Examples are below:

  • Example A: Student's normal pickup time: 6:35 a.m.
  • Student's ACT late start pickup time: 10:55 a.m.
  • Example B: Student's normal pickup time: 6:50 a.m.
  • Student's ACT late start pickup time: 11:10 a.m.
