Dear Parents/Guardians:

The end of the 2011-2012 school year is rapidly approaching, and the challenges of the past year will be but a memory. As we continue with the preparations for the end of the year activities, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our seniors as they complete this phase of their education and begin a future filled with promise.

Please continue to encourage your son/daughter to maintain his/her concentration on finishing the school year strongly. The school year is not over yet, and we encourage students to focus on their final exams with the intent of improving their academic standing in their courses. Equally important to final exams and projects is attendance. Poor attendance may have a negative impact on a student’s ability to achieve the best grade possible in his/her given courses or to lose credit completely for the class. Keep in mind that the end of the year can be a stressful time for many students; please continue to emphasize the importance of getting plenty of sleep and staying healthy.

We are proud of the fact that our students are scholastically competitive among the best in the state and that we are continuing to maintain one of the most comprehensive extra-curricular programs in our division. We also realize that we must always strive to improve; thus, we set goals to become better at what we do for the young people and families we serve. It has been a pleasure to work with the student body, the staff, and the community this year. We appreciate the parental support that we continue to receive for our programs and we thank you.
