About Me

Mike is the returning varsity baseball head coach for the sixth straight year. The former All-State/All Region/All City (baseball/football) Coronado Alum was an All-American (and Rawlings Big Stick Winner for the entire West Coast- .468 BA) when he played baseball at Mesa Community College and continued on to the University of New Mexico where he was an All-Mountain West Conference selection. Mike was chosen twice by the Seattle Mariners Organization in the Amateur Baseball Draft. He later played professionally for former Cy Young Award Winner, Bob Welch, and the Scottsdale Valley Vipers. After his playing career, Mike was a coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks and their Community and Outreach Department for six years. The past three summers, Coach Campbell helped lead Team Arizona (the top 20 players in the state) in the Senior Sunbelt Classic (now known as The Heartland Classic). Team Arizona won its 2nd ever Championship (over Texas, Canada, Illinois, Ohio, Maryland, Georgia and Oklahoma) and posted an all time best 7-1 record in 2009 and finished with the second best record, 5-3, in 2010. In it's 2011 campaign, Team Arizona took 3rd place going 4-4 with an upset win over 5-2 host, Oklahoma. Coach Campbell has helped 10+ players get the opportunity to play at the next level over his 5 years as head coach at Queen Creek, while posting a winning percentage of .556. Mike has also served as an assistant coach in the 2007 and 2009 Arizona Academic All Star Games. During the summers of 06- 08, Mike coached for the Arizona Pro Scout League and is in his fifth year as one of two full-time QCHS strength and conditioning coaches after teaching third grade at Jack Barnes Elementary (QCUSD) for 5 years. This is Coach Campbell's seventh year overall, in the program. Mike is married to wife, Amy, and has two daughters; Stevie Jo (age 8) and Madisson Mae (age 1).

About Me

My name is Bailey Moore and I recently graduated from ASU with a degree in dance education. I am proudly involved in the Orphanage Dance Project which gives me the opportunity each year to teach dance at an orphanage outside of Mexico City. I teach dance from an athletic, artistic, and academic perspective and use dance as a vehicle for my students to learn valuable life skills. I am thrilled to be teaching dance and coaching pom at QCHS this upcoming year!
